HOW TO APPLY
The Prospectus and Application Forms can be obtained in person from MFT by paying Rs.1000 by cash or through Crossed Demand Draft. In case you download the Application Form from our website www mftindia.com your completed Application Form must be accompanied by a crossed *Demand Draft for Rs.1000. Outstation candidates can obtain the Prospectus and Application form by sending a crossed *Demand Draft for Rs.1000. The Institute will send the forms on receipt of such request (accompanied by the Demand Draft) by post.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM
The completed application form in all respects should be sent to MFT, 16 Shastri Nagar, Off 100 Feet Road, Vadapalani, Chennai – 26, mentioning “MFT Admission Form” on the top of the cover with a *Demand Draft value of Rs.1000 towards entrance examination fee.. MFT does not take any responsibility for delay or loss of forms in postal transit or by courier.

*Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘MFT Educational Institutions ‘– payable at Chennai.

General Procedure for Admission

• All the courses of the Institute are offered to the residents of India and also to foreign countries as per the discretion of the authorities, University of Madras. Admission cannot be claimed as a matter of right and the Institute reserves to itself the right of admission.
  
• Spot Admission can be given for those who come in person along with the required original documents/ certificates.
  
• The course fee should be paid in the form of demand Draft as prescribed.
  
• All the columns in the application form should be filled in carefully. Incomplete application forms will be rejected.
  
• The photocopy copy of the eligibility certificate should be attested by a gazetted officer

Admission of Candidates from Other Countries
Candidates from abroad, seeking admission to M.B.A. / M.C.A. / M.Sc(I.T) Post-Graduate Professional Courses or UG Courses or Diploma or Certificate Programmes offered by the University of Madras, should submit their application along with two copies of the syllabus studied by them and an “EQUIVALENCE CERTIFICATE” obtained from University Grants Commission (UGC) / Association of Indian Universities (AIU) , New Delhi, in conformity with the course undergone by them as equivalent to the courses offered in the recognized Indian Universities. Besides, all Original Certificates with two sets of attested photocopies of the relevant certificate should be enclosed along with the application form. Otherwise, the application submitted by the candidate is liable for cancellation without any intimation.

Certificates to be enclosed with Application:

1. Transfer Certificate / Course Completion Certificate from the head of the Institution where the applicant last studied.
   
2. Provisional / Degree (Diploma) Certificate of the qualifying examinations passed by him/her.
   
3. Statement of marks right from schooling viz.10th 12th and Degree examinations passed by him/her.
   
4. If the certificates are in a language other than English / Tamil, an authenticated translation in English should be sent along with the originals duly attested by a Gazette Officer.
   
5. Candidates who have not undergone the courses (qualifying Examinations) under 10+2+3 (or) 11+1+3 (or) 11+2+2 pattern or any Open University System of recognized universities need not apply, as they are not eligible for admission of PG Programme.10+2 (or) 10+3 pattern for UG programme.

ApplicanT to Note

• Before filling in the application, read the Prospectus carefully. Preserve the Prospectus till the completion of the course.
  
• The application has to detach and fill in the following
  
  1. Application Form
  2. Computer Coding Sheet
  3. Address Slip.
• The Application must be accompanied by all the original certificates as stated in the prospectus and the registration fee.
  
• The Application has to state clearly the course which he / she want to study.
  
• Photographs to be affixed
  
  1. One on the Application Form
     (Attested by a Gazette Officer / Faculty / Officials of the University with Seal).
     
  2. One on the Address slip.
  3. One on the reverse side of the Coding sheet.
