Hands-on training is imparted in operating these machines to create innovative patterns, designs and styles. In addition to these, the students are trained in testing laboratory with latest instruments and modern equipments to realize the importance of international quality standards and the need for the same in the ever dynamic fashion industry.

MFT strongly believes that the curriculum should provide the scope to explore the market, analyze the market needs and develop products accordingly. Besides the regular classes; seminars, technical symposiums, group discussion, industrial visits and internships are arranged in reputed garment manufacturing units. Industry exposure will help students in analyzing the feasibility of the various garment styles created, industry methods, techniques, procedures involved and an overall feel of fashion industry. The exposure will help in seamless shifting from student life to a professional career. In addition to Industry training, several co- curricular and extracurricular activities including fashion show, leadership activities, soft skills training and team building programs are in pipeline for the ensuing academic year. A number of extra-curricular events are organized in the institute and the students are inspired to participate in social events which have been organized periodically. Both full time and part time students are encouraged to participate in various activities organized by the institute throughout the academic year.
